Stanley Solid Wood Entertainment Centers - Limited Time Free Shipping NOW!

Hello my fellow home theater addicts.

Come on into Max Mania and get your fix of electric sugar. Yes that’s right folks step right up and see what the lovable kooky MaxMan is up too now.

As you have probably noticed I am still on my “Entertainment Center” binge and I want to take a peek at Stanley Furniture.

History Always Repeats With Stanley

Now folks Stanley have been around for many moons now and it shouldn’t be a surprise that they have a proud history of making some of the best solid wood furniture ever made.

They have definitely grown since their humble beginnings when they originally started with just a handful of employees with passion to the 2600 strong crew that they have today, and just in case you were wondering that passion from those early days is still prevalent today.

If you want proof of this just look in the pudding. Get it? “The proof is in the pudding”

Ok that’s my English influence getting the better of me.

What I mean is just look at what Stanley is producing today and you will know that the passion is still part of their driving force for perfection.

But it doesn’t stop at passion either, Stanley is also concerned about the environment so much so that their manufacturing plant in Martinsville, VA is currently a member of the EPA’s National Environment Performance Track program and what this means is they are recognized for the commitment they have made to keeping our lands, air and water ways free of pollution.

So for those of you who have a clean green conscience (MaxMan included) you can be sure that your Stanley product is not only good for your home but also for the world we live in.

Did that make sense? Or am I rambling again?

Features

Now Stanley Furniture has many features that make them stand out from the crowd too many for me cover in great detail.

So let me just touch on some of the most important ones.

You may or may not be the most knowledgeable person when it comes to carpentry but regardless I am going to point out some things that are standard with quality solid wood products made by Stanley and things that you should be looking for if you plan on paying top dollar.

  • The various sections of furniture should be joined firmly and securely.
  • A well constructed chest or table remains rigid when you place your hand on the top surface and try to rock it.
  • Unexposed parts should be sanded smooth.
  • Back panels should fit well and be smoothly finished.
  • Doors and drawers should operate with ease, and be flush with the surface when closed.
  • Dust panels between drawers are very desirable features because they serve to seal each unit.
  • Drawers should be constructed with interlocking dovetail joints.
  • The finish should feel smooth and free of any rough spots.
  • Attached labels may describe the color of the finish, for example, as a "fruitwood finish" or a "walnut finish". This terminology is used to describe the finish color and does not necessarily identify the species of wood used.

Too Much Max Ramble

As I mentioned earlier I tend to ramble on a little when I get excited so on a final note I just want to point out a couple more features I forgot to mention.

Puck lights, wire management systems, adjustable shelves, removable vented back panels and adjustable foot levelers are all standard on Stanley Entertainment Centers.

So now I will leave you be. Go have fun.

MaxMan Out.
