Hey everyone it’s AV Maxman here once again. Well who else would it be? Right?

No, no, no I’m not cranky today. I’m just being a little cheeky cause that’s just who I am. As a kid the Maxman was always getting in trouble for being a little on the lippy side. Ok who am I kidding I was a brat with a smarty pants mouth.

Some things never change because I still have a smarty pants mouth just that now I use it for a good cause.

And today that cause is TV Stands from Salamander.

The Origins of Salamander

Salamander is the common name that is given to about 500 species of amphibians that have slender bodies, short legs and long tails. The name Salamander is derived from the Persian word “sam-andarun” which means “fire-within”.

Oops the Maxman got his wires a little crossed here. Yes my description was correct however I am meant to be talking about Salamander the AV furniture manufacturers. Let’s try that again shall we?

Like a lot of AV furniture companies Salamander was born from personal need. A young lad needed some furniture for his electronic components and to his surprise he was unable to find anything suitable, he decided to solve this problem by making his own products and Salamander was born

The Archetype incorporates steel support posts (threaded) that have matching fasteners which hold the shelves in place while enabling them to be moved vertically to allow for different size components.

Secondly they provide their “Synergy System” which features ornamented projecting-aluminum corner columns with hardwood shelves and options like a selection of different side’s backs and doors to match your existing home décor.

One thing I have noticed about various manufacturers is a lot (not all) of them have their own distinct style and this bodes well for us the consumer. Salamander definitely fits into this category with a lot of their products, and I have to say that the Maxman finds their stuff very aesthetically pleasing indeed.
