Ok my fellow home theater lovers, yes it’s the MaxMan here, and today we’re looking at TV Stands from Riverside Furniture.
I have known about Riverside Furniture for some time now but just haven’t taken the time to explore what they have on offer as far as AV furniture goes.
So today my friends is your lucky day, or my lucky day depending on how you look at it. Right?
Who Are They
Riverside has been around for quite some time now, since 1946 to be exact. They were founded by Herman Udouj in Fort Smith Arkansas.
Although different styles of veneers can be used Riverside prefers to use a selection of the following American hardwoods like red and white oak, ash, pine, poplar, cherry……… I could go on and on but you get the picture.
Keep in mind that these different wood species have been used in furniture making for many a generation and have proven to be the standard choice of cabinetmakers near and far.
With the advantage of having their own lumber yard in Russellville Arkansas, Riverside has put themselves in a position to be able to select the best materials right from the get go.
Once the wood has been selected it is then kiln dried to help ensure that is has the perfect combination of moisture and dryness, this helps prevent the wood from splitting and twisting which would normally occur if left exposed to the elements.
When that is all completed the lumber is then shipped off to one of their 3 manufacturing plants that they have in Fort Smith.
