As you all know the Maxman loves his home theater furniture and lately we have been looking at the many different choices you have when it comes to recliners and so forth.

Today I won’t take up to much of your time. But what I do want to look at are loungers.

The reason for this is just to show you that there are many more options available to you and I also know that (ok I’m just assuming) many of you have families and rather than spend all your hard earned dollearo’s on a recliner it might just make sense to spend them on a lounger or sofa or couch what ever you wanna call it.

This way everyone is happy and nobody is fighting over the one recliner that you may already have.

Features

Now I did note in my previous spiels the different features available to you with regards to HT recliners and I want to point out that almost all of these features are still available in a lounger also.

Now a lounger to the Maxman can be a two seater, three seater or in some cases a multi seater and really the only difference or should I say the only thing a lounger may lack is cup holders but not always if I’m making sense.

It really depends on what your preferences are; sometimes a 3 seater sofa will have cup holders in the arm rests at either end. Or it could also have a console that folds down in the center (when you only need seating for 2) which doubles as an arm rest and a cup holder.

Other loungers are simply recliners put side by side with optional consol dividers that provide space for your remotes, snacks and beverages which we all know is a must for any movie aficionado.

Another option for you is an ottoman which can be conveniently located where ever you like and use how ever you want. It offers you the same storage options as a console divider and can also be used as an extra footrest or even a coffee table, it’s really up to the individual.

As far as construction goes the same blood, sweat and tears are put into the manufacturing of a lounger/sofa as a recliner so you can be sure that at no time is quality sacrificed, everything is done the same, the only difference is that more butts are provided for as opposed to one butt per recliner.

Or if you prefer and you’re feelin a little dosey you may just want to lay across and stretch out for a little power nap.
